    About FIITJEE

In FIITJEE 1992, IIT Delhi was created with the vision and diligence of Delhi’s Mechanical Engineering Mr. DK Goyal. Our beginning as a platform for IIT-JEE was very polite, with a vision to provide the ideal launch pad for serious JEE candidates. During the course of realising this vision, we went beyond coaching only for IIT-JEE. We actually began to make a difference in the way students think and deal with problems We started to develop ways to increase the students’ IQ. We started leaving an infallible mark on students who have taken physio-graphic training. We have started to change life. And this was not a serious coincidence. It was a compulsory desire to fulfil the perfection and always desire in the process, to continue to establish new standards of excellence, which enabled us to achieve what we and our students have achieved.

The success of our students was inspirational and they also had faith in physiques. It was believed that IIT-JEE was a catalyst for our enterprise in areas beyond. It was faith that motivated us to start a mission to provide school education to the students well through the Fiji Integrated School Programs like UDAA Plus, Supam and . No way coaching was required outside of the school system. In addition to the launch of Fizzee Junior Colleges in Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam, many kind of minded schools across the country, in this student-centric endeavor to create an ideal school education platform for students to get admission in IITs and US universities Shake hands with us. With great success in Olympiads, SAT-1 and SAT-2 without stress and stress. And this was the only belief that enabled us to make historical success in the NTSE.

If you aren’t still sure you want to go for IIT or not Once read : Why IIT?

      Why FIITJEE

      • Hostel – You will get academic support in good food, environment friendly, hostel for study – the faculty goes for academic care, which includes doubt clearing.
      • Overall contact hours – Contact hours are usually 450 hours (one year extended program) but if the batch is required then there is no time constraint.
      • We keep classes in proper size batches so that you are not lost. We never hold classes in a batch of 100 or 200. Large classes are the reason that students are unable to master concepts and feel stress and develop frustration and take extreme steps.
      • You get a doubt clearing cell, and library facility with the presence of faculty for a guided study.
      • Unexpected Physics All India Internal Test Series – We are Leaders of AITS, Test Analysis and Rank Prediction – We can almost always predict your potential JEE rank with making JEE main and advanced environment accurate.

      Review on FIITJEE

If you can succeed in your ability while studying in Physzi, you can succeed anywhere in life and even lick your elbows.

It is good for those students who are diligent and most importantly, there is no need of coaching or guidance. I read in the South-Delhi peak.

I am sorry every day to study at this premium institute. Teachers are excellent politicians. Some are devoted except few people, have enough knowledge about their subject. And if you have any doubt, doubt in the very existence of the clearing season is always for help. -_-

They know how to waste their very valuable time. Forget about management. Only the people with the top batch are given the desired position, time and facilities. I believe, seeing me and my friends, Physician reduces the students’ ability to rank.

Each class has the ability to sit for 35 in the summit program, but the students are divided from below as follows

      R1-15, R2-28, LX 1-40, LX 2-47, LX 3-42, LX 4-28 (Batch-NO students APX in each category).

It is most likely that you will get ACs serving everything from sprinkling of water in every class but not even close to an AC.

And the facilities at the top are not good with any of the facilities and food provided to Tihar prisoners.

I strongly feel that our HOD is a secretive detective from another coaching institute who wants to ruin the lives of students (Satak).

It was only 30% of the problem that we had to go to Fiji.

Fiji should change its name and change it to a journal. (If you study in Physiology you will get many more names, “Students are very creative”.)

What are the benefits of doing an M.Tech at an IIT , NIT or IIIT ?

      1. The IIT-tag

This is my favorite reason, because in this increasingly brand conscious world, being a branded product is a great advantage. After a ticket to IIT, father of ‘dream-girls’ will line up in front of your father (for boys) or greedy fathers of highly qualified boys will not even dare to utter the word ‘dowry’ in front of your father (for girls). Apart from such social benefits, you will be preferred over your non-IITian competitors with similar technical skills in your professional life.

      2. Studying abroad is an extremely expensive dream

The total cost (Tuition Fees + Living Expenses + Other Expenses) of studying abroad is around Rs 30-40 lakhs for a two-year course. For expensive universities, like Stanford, it is around Rs 74 lakhs (considering the current value of rupee). You can reduce this cost by bagging some scholarship and doing some part time job and manage somehow by arranging a loan, but still, for most of us it’s a too costly dream.

      3. Family matters, Nation matters

After staying abroad for two years and doing a job there after your education, it becomes very hard to come back and survive in the social and corporate culture of India. You earn a lot, but most of the time you meet your near and dear ones on Skype and your parents stay alone in some bungalow bought by you as they cannot adjust abroad. People may blame IITians for brain drain too, but post-globalization of the Indian economy in the 1990s, there is an increasing trend of IITians returning back or new pass-outs staying here for job or entrepreneurship.

If the top institutes of our nation i.e. IITs are not that good or India is a backward nation then it’s time to enter the IITs and change thing there, it’s time to stay here or return back after gaining knowledge and utilize it for future generations of our nation which will include yours and your relatives’ children too. Remember, petrol can be imported to power our engines, but to power our national growth we cannot import Americans or Europeans because it’s your mother’s land, the soil of your forefathers.

      4. IITs are affordable

Being a government initiative the education at IITs is subsidized and affordable e.g. (for IIT Kharagpur) considering the expenses on salary, labs, maintenance, consumables etc. the total fees for a four year B-Tech course should be around Rs 17 lakhs, but a student has to pay only around Rs 4 lakhs (Similar subsidies are granted for M-Tech courses too). Apart from these, there are scholarships for reserved category students and the banks are more than ready to give you loan anytime for studying at IITs. For M-Tech, at IIT Kharagpur, a general category student needs to pay only Rs 28000/semester which includes tuition fees, hostel fees, mess charges, insurance, medical expenses etc. I hope you are too greedy if you expect anything else (next point is more interesting!).

      5. Get paid for studying

M-Tech students at IITs get Rs 12400/month as the stipend. Just think, by this all expencive things covered..

      6. Huge campus and energetic environment

At IITs, the campuses are huge and loaded with amenities e.g. the SAC (Student Activity Center) in IIT Delhi consists of a gymnasium, swimming pool, pool and billiards rooms, squash courts, table tennis rooms, a badminton court, a music room, a fine arts room, a robotics room and a committee room used to organize quizzing and debating events. The SAC also has an Open Air Theater where concerts are hosted. Students can also use the radio broadcasting facility (HAM) in the SAC . Similar facilities are available in other IITs too.

      7. Chartered flight to the world of research and lectureship

M-Tech from IITs is a golden opportunity for those interested in teaching or research. A PhD research scholar at IITs bags a stipend of Rs 25000/month along with one of the most suitable teaching and research environments in India.

      8. Reviving your career

Even after years of experience if you are struggling to get some higher (10 lakh+) package or you are unable to become a part of industry leaders, like Microsoft, Google etc. or you are suffocated by the mass-recruiting brands like Infosys, TCS etc., where your focus is on services like maintenance, testing, software operation and management etc. than development then wait for the GATE form.

      9. A Deep dive into the ocean of knowledge

At IITs with better professors, labs, environment, over all grand exposure and a base of knowledge gained from you bachelor degree you are set to dive deeper in the world of knowledge where concepts will become more clear and your ability to learn will increase exponentially.

      10. Great company to hone technical and interpersonal skills

At IITs you are surrounded by brilliant brains which inspire you to ignite a passion for knowledge. Apart from academics, there are lots of technical and cultural festivals where you can improve your management, communication or leadership skills e.g. (IIT-Bombay) The annual cultural festival Mood Indigo is held in the month of December and is purportedly the largest of its kind in Asia. The most attractive features of this 4-day event are the competitions, exhibitions, games and musical concerts. The annual Science & Technology festival of IIT Bombay, Techfest is held in the month of January every year and is the largest of its kind in Asia. It comprises various events like competitions, exhibits and talks from guest speakers from around the world .

IIT Kharagpur celebrates the Illumination festival on the evening of Diwali. Large bamboo structures (called chatais) as high as 6 meters (20 ft) are made and earthen lamps are placed on them to form outlines of people, monuments, or an event. The competition is held between hostels, it does not receive entries by outside visitors. Bonds of trust and friendship formed at IIT are helpful in building your future as networking is the key to human evolution.

      11. Best place to get infected by the bug of entrepreneurship

IITs encourage entrepreneurship in every possible way and there is a long list of generous and helping alumni of IITs who are renowned entrepreneurs. Some big names are N. R. Narayana Murthy, Manohar Parrikar, Arvind Kejriwal, Raghuram Rajan, Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan Arogyaswami Paulraj etc. You will notice that IITians have excelled not only in the field of technology but also triumphed in various other fields like management, politics etc. Definitely, there is something in the air inside those campuses and filling your lungs with that air may enrich your brain forever.

Disclaimer: The figures mentioned i.e. fees, total spending, stipend etc. may vary with time, kindly visit authorized online sources to get the current figures.

      All The Best…

      Thank You :-))

Which is better among IISC and IIT ?

Well, that primarily depends on what you plan to do in IISc or IITs. IISc, along with very well established engineering departments, has some departments that are unique to IISc. These include Centre for Ecological Sciences, Centre for Earth Sciences among many others.
There is only one IISc, as opposed to there being many IITs. Most IITs are well known for a particular department or two. With IISc its easier to judge a department, since there will be only one! Also, with many more IITs being added in the past decade, there could be a ‘dilution effect’ to the brand IIT.

There seems to be a misconception that IISc is for basic research only. In addition to being a great avenue for basic research in many subjects ranging from physics, mathematics, chemistry, biology, etc. it is also very application-friendly institute. Recently opened Centre for Nanoscience is a point in case. Many engineering departments keep featuring in the news for their cost-effective inventions most useful in the Indian scanrio. There are cells for start-ups that are supported for 2 years by the institute.
But it all boils down to what you really plan to apply to either IIT or IISc for.

          • In terms of Quantity (No. of Research Papers) or Quality (Citation / Paper), it is way beyond any IIT.
            • Due to presence of Bachelors students in IITs, life will be happening.
              • You may see many grand Tech and cultural fests in IITs.
                • Opposite to that Life in IISc is peacefuland without any noise, that will make you fall in love with nature.
                  • If we talked about the faculty and teachers, you would be amazed to see people who with noble laureates and few were nominated for noble prize too still love their lab and work in IISc.
                    • You hardly find a match anywhere close to this.
                        • Many well written answers are available. I appreciate all of them for their valuable opinions. My answer for this question will be divided into two parts. The first part deals primarily for the students who want choose IITs or IISc for their studies, while the second part deals for the young doctorates who want to spend their career at IISc or IITs as faculty.

                          Students:

                          IISc:

                          1. IISc is well known for its research contributions in the world. If someone wants to pursue his/her career in research, there is no doubt that IISc is the best option.
                          2. The strength of IISc is its world class research infrastructure and its highly qualified and reputed faculty. The faculty spends their full time in contributing for research and development, along with their regular minor teaching loads. Students usually get more time to interact with their faculty for discussions.
                          3. The teachings of IISc faculty are mostly oriented along the directions of the fundamental understanding of the concepts involved. The faculty give more importance to train the brains of students to think along new directions rather than spending time on designing more complicated question papers for semester exams.
                          4. Since IISc is a research institute. Students usually don’t find entertainment. They mostly engaged in their work.

                          • The products of IISc are mostly research oriented. They generally don’t worry about their placements. I have seen many IISc students who were working in some reputed corporate organizations, have left their job and chose research as their career path.

                          IITs:

                              • IITs are primarily well known for their bachelors engineering program. Of course, IITs are the best option for the students who want to get some job immediately after their bachelor’s program.
                                • The major strength of IITs is their government funds to attract more students for bachelors and other master programs. Most of the funds are generally spend in designing and shaping of IITs. Students can easily find entertainment stuff.
                                  • Well qualified faculty are available at IITs as well. IIT faculty mostly engaged with their major teaching loads and in designing complicated question papers for semester exams.
                                    • Due to heavy teaching loads most of the research students they generally find difficulty in interacting with their advisors especially at assistant and associate professor level.
                                      • The products of IITs are usually interested in choosing corporate life style. I may be partially wrong at this statement.

                                      Faculty:

                                          • IISc is the best option for the young doctorates who want to spend their full time career in research. In contrast, IITs are the best option for the candidates who are interested especially in teaching.
                                            • Teaching loads will be minor for the faculty at IISc when compared to IITs. Of course, the research pressure will be more at IISc when compared to IITs.
                                              • Research start up grants will be provided in both the cases.
                                                • The advantage with IISc is, flexibility will be given to the faculty to design his own subject course for teaching in addition to the departmental core courses. This will give a chance to introduce more advanced and innovative topics to students along with the conventional core courses.

Tips for engineering students who are not going to an IIT.

Here are some tips from engineers who did not go to an IIT and still managed to have successful careers.

People usually think that good and successful engineers come out of IITs alone. Well, neither is every IIT engineer good, nor is every good engineer from an IIT. They are certainly prestigious institutes and have a great track record, but a great engineer can come from anywhere. Every year more than 12 lakh students attempt JEE Main but only 20,000 make it to an IIT. It cannot be believed that there are only 20,000 bright young minds that can be moulded into great engineers each year. If you did not make it to this acclaimed ‘hall of fame’, it’s alright. Here are some tips from engineers who did not go to an IIT and still managed to have successful careers.

There are other great institutes that produce great engineers

Some of the most renowned engineers in the industry don’t have an IIT stamp on their resume. Whether it’s Satya Nadella from Microsoft or Kalpana Chawla from NASA, they’ve gained their knowledge at other institutes that have a lot to offer. Here are some great colleges that have produced legends:

                                                — Anna University – Verghese Kurien (Milkman of India), Mylswami Annadurai – scientist in ISRO
                                                — Institute of Chemical Technology – Mukesh Dhirubhai Ambani – Reliance industries
                                                — BITS – Sanjay Mehrotra – President of SanDisk, Sunil Duggar – CEO of Dabur
                                                — NIT Trichy – Natarajan Chandrasekaran – Chairman of Tata Sons, Rajesh Gopinathan – CEO of TCS.
                                                — NIT Rourkela – CP Gurnani – CEO of Tech Mahindra.

Resources to learn on your own

The most lucrative part about an IIT is the quality of education. They have a coveted faculty, but it’s not necessary to study at an IIT to access quality education. Many professors form various IITs upload their lectures on NPTEL. You can enrol for any course by renowned IIT professors, where you can access; videos, assignments and discussion forums. Infact, you can aim higher than an IIT, by accessing lectures of professors from the best universities, worldwide on EdX. If you want to learn all about Python, JavaScript or Machine Learning, you can even pick a course on Udemy. If you’re enthusiastic to learn, resources are available in abundance, irrespective of your college.

                                                3) Get the exposure you deserve

What you learn in lectures is great, but every students needs a little edge over the competition. It’s during college that you realise what you’d like to do after graduation. You can’t decide that purely on the basis of which subjects interest you, you need exposure. Every college has tech fests, however, you can do a lot more. Write a research paper and submit it on relevant platforms to get industry wide recognition. The best part is, you can pick a topic that interests you and explore it beyond the classroom. No matter which field you come from, doing an Internship can help you learn a lot, especially at a startup, and it looks great on your resume.

                                                4) Work with industry giants

Another star in IIT’s belt are the stellar placements. However, your dream company isn’t limiting itself to an IIT, they’re just looking for awesome engineers. Infact, some engineering colleges have better placements than the newer IITs. Here are some of the best colleges for placements and the giants that have hired students from there.

Anna University: Google, Adobe Systems, Amazon, eBay, Flipkart, Ford etc.
Jadavpur University: Deloitte, Facebook, Reliance, Pepsico etc.
NIT Trichy: Microsoft, Oracle, Tata Motors, Godrej, Sony etc.
BITS Pilani: Bain, McKinsey, Mahindra, Schlumberger etc.
VIT: Myntra, Godrej, PayPal, Honda etc.

                                                5) Benefits from an IIT even as an outsider

You can get access to IITs even without being a student at one of them. Every IIT has a dedicated tech fest. This a great place to meet your peers and see where you stand among the competition. Participate in hack-a-thons, workshops and other competitions, and win some goodies while you’re at it! In the academic space, there are a variety of week long courses that you can sign up for. You can even do an internship as a research or teaching assistant under your favourite IIT professor. Don’t let an institute define the kind of engineer you’re going to be. It’s your skill, enthusiasm and passion that can make you successful.

                                                *Q – Number of Questions, M-Marks.

                                                • WBJEE 2018 will be of total 350 marks
                                                • The Question Paper has four sections viz. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biological Sciences.
                                                • Each section is further divided into three categories, each with a different marking scheme.

For easy understanding, we’ve put together a table explaining the category-wise marking scheme.

So, this was the WBJEE 2017 Exam Pattern and the Marking Scheme which is also expected for WBJEE 2018.

Now, as promised, here are some useful tips to manage the WBJEE 2018 Exam Pattern.

Tips for Managing the WBJEE 2018 Exam Pattern:

                                                • While attempting the Mathematics section, which is usually conducted first, I would advise you to attempt the Category 2 and Category 3 questions first, and then take up the Category 1 questions. This tried-and-tested approach helps you score well and leaves you with time for the Category 1 questions. It also boosts your self-confidence, which is a very crucial factor for doing well in the exams.
                                                • While solving Category 3 questions, please be very careful about not marking a wrong answeras it would lead to a waste of your time and no scoring of marks. Mark only those answers that you are sure about. Now, I hope you understand why Mathematics is so important for WBJEE 2018.
                                                • After the Mathematics section is over, you get a break of about an hour. You should utilize this time to relax and get ready for the next section, which again consists of two gruelling hours of problem-solving.
                                                • For the Physics and Chemistry Sections, again my advice is to attempt the Category 2 & Category 3 questions first. The reasons are pretty much the same as for the Mathematics section.

I didn’t attempt the Category 2 & 3 questions first while my friends did and they immensely benefitted from this approach. I did regret it later, but since you have already read about how my experience was, you should learn from it and implement the same.

Above all, the important thing is to stay motivated and attempt the WBJEE 2018 with a positive state of mind.

You can read about a detailed, step-by-step guide to filling the WBJEE 2018 application form here and about the WBJEE 2018 admit card here.

Please note that since it is a private college, there are no reservations, except for the seats set aside for the DASA candidates, who cannot contest the other seats.
                                                  Facilities
IIIT Hyderabad has some of the best facilities in the country for those interested in studying Computer Science or Electronics. The labs are equipped with the latest equipment in sufficient quantity. The Lightning fast internet is provided to all the buildings, 24 hours a day. Since there is a lot of emphases here on pursuing research and projects, the labs are kept open around the clock for the use of researchers. There are customised Research Centres for different fields, such as Robotics, Security and Signal Processing. These labs are even sponsored for research projects by industry giants.
The library is one of the largest in the country, and as befits a technical institution of this magnitude, has subscriptions to a plethora of scientific journals. This means that any time you want to view a paper which is otherwise paid, you can view and even download it if the college has taken a subscription to that particular magazine. In addition, it is well stocked with reference and text books, technical reports and literature.
All students of IIIT-H are supposed to stay in the hostels, which are quite comfortable and equipped with all the necessary facilities. In the first year, students stay 2 to a room, which changes to single occupancy in the subsequent years. Girls may have attached bathrooms in the final year subjected to availability. In all the other cases, there will be common bathrooms. All rooms are connected to the internet and the local intranet in order to enable you to pursue research even from your own room. The hostels are equipped with a mini gym (apart from the large common gym open to all students), table tennis room, TV, library room, coolers, etc. There are four messes, including a common mess, and all the managerial work is performed by an indigenously developed IT portal. The canteen serves non-vegetarian food.
For the athletes at IIIT Hyderabad, there is no shortage of facilities for you. There are well developed and maintained grounds and stadiums for badminton, hockey, swimming, cricket, volleyball, football, basketball, table tennis, etc.
One interesting point to note is the RFID system. At all points of entry into the campus and the various buildings, the RFID system maintains logs of who is entering which building and at what time. While full freedom is provided with regards to movement, a close watch is maintained.
                                                  Academics
The college is very serious about academics and attendance. Missing lectures can cost you your grades! However, since the purpose of most students here is to learn and conduct quality research, this does not happen much.
The main difference between IIIT-H and other engineering colleges is the curriculum. In most colleges, the first year of engineering is an introduction to the different fields of engineering, where you study computer science, electronics, principles of mechanical engineering and so on. However, here there is no such concept. The focus is on your department from the very first year, with some foundation computer science or electronics course being covered. In many semesters, projects are included as part of the curriculum, so everyone gets the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge. As their website says, “The programme is designed to create innovators and researchers.”
In the initial stages of the programme, basic introductory courses are covered, such as databases and algorithms. In the latter half, students can specialise in different fields depending on their interest and take courses in those sub specialities alone.
                                                  Courses at IIIT Hyderabad
IIIT Hyderabad offers B.Tech programmes in both Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. These are both four-year programmes. In addition, they also offer dual degrees:

Try the shortest approach to any MCQ.

ANYTHING THAT SAVES TIME WILL LEAD TO MORE MARKS.

JEE Main exam is a significant milestone for you. To reach to a good All India Rank, you must score high. That’s a simple statement, which is a little more difficult to achieve than to just state.

Remember about efficiency you have studied in physics? Well your efficiency is defined like this.

Your efficiency for JEE Mains = (Effort put in) / (Satisfaction of JEE Main performance)

You will definitely have to work on the numerator indicated in the equation’s right side. And of course it will automatically improve the denominator. But the factor of time management in exam is crucial. To have a better time management, you need to devote less time per question, while increasing accuracy.

To lessen time per question, you must know the shorter approach to solving it.

                                                      • You will have to solve 90 questions in 180 minutes.
                                                      • On an average you have two minutes per question.
                                                      • But some questions that involve calculations will take more time.
                                                      • If you save half a minute on every question you automatically will be able to attempt more questions and in a better fashion.
                                                      • You can attempt at least 5-6 more questions correctly by saving time. It will lead to increase in at least 20 to 24 marks. This will improve your rank by hundreds and thousands!

Plan your weekly and daily time table.

SET YOUR GOALS REALISTICALLY. DO NOT TRY TO OUTDO YOUR CAPABILITIES.

It is not humanly possible to finish the complete syllabus in a day. So unless you are flash, don’t write down in your calendar “Today I will finish the entire syllabus!”

Chart a weekly time table in which note down the chapters you will solve from so-and-so book; number of sample papers you will solve and revision.

Also create a day-wise time table outlining important subjects for study and goals. We have written more on this in this article – JEE Main Preparation in 30 days.

                                                      Do not get tensed frequently.

A LITTLE BIT OF WORRY IS GOOD. A LOT OF WORRY LEADS TO WRECKAGE.

Be happy and stay calm. JEE or any engineering entrance exam is not the end of your world. You need to stay focused and repeatedly tell yourself that you can do it!

Ignore pesky and bothersome relatives or so-called well wishers who keep bothering you about marks or taunting your performance. Take every criticism positively and work with only one goal in mind – I am going to give my best!

                                                      Practice previous year papers.

TAKE A LEAF FROM THE PAST.

Technically, that’s not actually a phrase, but it just wants to convey one thing – You must learn and understand the exam from past year papers. JEE Main and AIEEE past year papers are available here for you – JEE Main previous year question papers and answers. You must most definitely practice past year papers and analyse your performance.

You can read our article on important JEE Main preparation guidelines to understand how past year papers must be solved.

Use self taken notes to revise formulas.

REVISION DOES NOT MEAN READING THE WHOLE BOOK AGAIN. THAT’S WHEN NOTES COME IN USEFUL.

You might be great at time management. But it is not feasible to read all the chapters two days before the exam. We strongly suggest that in the three to four days before your JEE Main exam, go through self written notes you have taken during your preparation for JEE Mains.

Method of elimination to answer MCQs.

THERE ARE ONLY FOUR OPTIONS AND ONE OF THEM IS THE KEY TO +4 MARKS.

JEE Main has only multiple choice questions with single correct answer. JEE Advanced may have some questions on MCQs with multiple correct answer. Use the MCQ pattern to your advantage.

Instead of asking yourself “Which of these options is right?“, ask “Which of these are wrong?“. But please note that the process of elimination (POE) may not work on all questions.

                                                      Take care of your health.

EAT HEALTHY, STAY HEALTHY AND SLEEP WELL.

You must keep your sleeping pattern in check as well. At least a week before the exam day, start sleeping early and waking up after a good sleep. If you are a late sleeper and late riser, you may feel sleepy on the exam day because of sleep deficiency on that day.

Also, good and health eating habits will make you feel more fresh and alert during your JEE Main preparation.

Best of luck for your exam!!!
